Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is continuing to offer education 100% in English at the Faculties of Political Sciences with the developed curriculum. The university is also providing to answer to the needs for the training of qualified human resources by offering education 30% in English in the Faculty of Law.

As a law lecturer who has been teaching the course of Introduction to Law at the Faculty of Political Science since 2014, I have prepared a project (The Project on the Content Design and Writing of Textbook, Introduction to Law in Accordance with the Syllabus of the Faculties of Political Sciences, BAP No. 3275) aiming to prepare a text, may be a book, for the course of Introduction to Law at the Faculties of Political Sciences in accordance with their syllabus for two main reasons.

The first and foremost objective is that the textbook produced shall provide information and knowledge commensurate to the course of Introduction to Law not only at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, which is a compulsory course (Course Code: PSPA 105) for all departments (Political Science and Public Administration, International Relations, Economics and Finance) in Year 1, but also in other universities teaching the same or similar subjects in English.

The number of non-Turkish students at the universities of Turkey has been dramatically increasing for recent years. For instance, there are 1509 foreign students from 86 different countries making 10.5% of the total undergraduate student number at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Therefore, the textbook would be used to introduce the subject not only to Turkish, but also non-Turkish students.

Bearing in mind this fact, the textbook attempts to strike a balance between two objectives. On the one hand, it should deal with the basic concepts, doctrines and theories concerning the institutions-organizations, which form the subject matter of Introduction to Law not only in Turkey, but also around the world. On the other hand, the standard of the book should be such as to cater to the needs of those who would like to prepare for competitive examinations and desire to pursue higher studies in this subject in Turkey. Therefore, the textbook covers the basic doctrines and principles with a special emphasis on Turkish law. Moreover, self-test questions have been inserted for each chapter. Self-test questions have been prepared to examine the subjects chosen in the central entrance exams of Turkey.

• İade edilecek ürünler PTT kargo ile kurumumuzdan aldığınız iade mağaza koduyla gönderilmelidir.

• Baskısında hata bulunan, eksik, fazla veya yanlış basılmış ürünlerin iadesinde kargo ücreti geliş ve gidiş olarak www.kitapsec.com`a aittir.

• Siparişin yanlış gönderilmesinden kaynaklanan değişimlerde kargo ücreti geliş ve gidiş olarak www.kitapsec.com’a aittir.
